The Litigation Law Group approach to estate planning is to combine estate planning and probate or trust administrative experience with the way businesses and families interact during a person’s lifetime, as well as after a person’s death. The Litigation Law Group combines expertise in business and estate planning and the overall skills of the Firm in corporate, litigation and real estate to provide a broad base of support to the Firm’s estate planning practice.

Our services range from simple estate planning to sophisticated estate and tax planning matters that involve gifting, charitable giving and private foundations, as well as asset protection, specialized plans for owners of closely held businesses and executives of publicly held corporations, business succession plans, retirement planning and planning for clients with highly specialized needs such as multigenerational planning and international assets and family. We work with our clients to develop estate planning goals for themselves and their families and then assist our client to achieve their goals using established and innovative estate planning techniques.

The Litigation Law Group’s estate planning practice provides advice and representation to individuals and families in the worlds of estate planning, business succession, estate administration, probate, conservatorship and guardianship issues, including:

  • Estate planning, with regards to both the tax and non-tax concerns, including all aspects of implementation such as living trusts, life insurance trusts and wills, and the preparation of ancillary documents, such as deeds, limited partnerships, limited liability companies, and pre-marital and post-marital agreements
  • Charitable gift planning and the organization and administration of charitable foundations, trusts and other vehicles for tax advantaged charitable giving, including the use of charitable remainder and lead trusts
